The Herschell Carrousel Factory Museum is seeking artisans and crafters who wish to sell their creations at “The Brass Ring Thing XII”-a Renaissance Festival to be held on Saturday, June 2nd from 11AM-6 PM . Hand made jewelry, wooden articles, laces, knitting, crochet, candles, and herbs are examples of appropriate items for sale.
Vendors are requested to register before the event by calling the museum at 693-1885 for a registration form. The booth fee is $20. Members of the Society for Creative Anachronism pay $10 with ID card. Vendors supply their own table and cover. The museum supplies the space and promotion.
Faire-goers will enjoy a day of swashbuckling sword duels, dangerously accurate knife and axe throwers, gentle lords, beautiful ladies, medieval songsters, and skillful jugglers.
Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for children ages 2 –12. For an additional $5 guests may purchase an unlimited game bracelet which includes catapults, castle bounce, dragon swing, pillow joust, rat pucking, sheep throwing, dragon spears and more!
There will also be artisan demonstrations, silent and theme tray auctions, and food and beverages available for purchase.
